At Roundhay St John's we actively promote and teach pupils about healthy lifestyles to help them positive choices in relation to food, exercise and mental wellbeing. We have successfully self validated (October 2020) to maintain our Healthy Schools status using the Leeds School Health Check.

Social, Emotional and Mental Health
We are a Mindmate Friendly School having been validated by Leeds Children’s Services. Mrs Jones, our Learning Mentor, supports children across school and we also have Family Support Workers who work with families who are experiencing difficulties of some kind. We work closely with many outside agencies including: social care, ESNW Cluster Services, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS, Mindmate SPA to support our pupils who are experiencing SEMH difficulties.
